Do I need to commit to a retainer right away?
No. Most clients start with the $2,500 audit + 30-day roadmap. You get a clear picture of what's working, what's costing you money, and exactly what to do next. From there you can implement on your own, hire me to build or rebuild your campaigns, or move into ongoing management. If you sign on for management within 30 days of an audit, the $2,500 is credited toward your first month.
Do you run Google and Meta together, or one at a time?
Either. Some clients only need Google (high-intent search-driven verticals), some only need Meta (creative-led demand creation), and many benefit from both running together with shared attribution. I'll be honest on the strategy call about what your business actually needs. Running both isn't always the right answer.
How much should I budget for ad spend on top of your fee?
It depends on the channel and your market. For Google Search in most markets, a minimum of $3,000-5,000/month in ad spend is needed to gather enough data to optimize. For Meta, $2,000-4,000/month minimum. Most of my clients are spending $10,000-30,000/month combined across channels. I'll help you figure out the right number for your specific goals.
How long before I start seeing results?
If you're already running ads, audit-driven improvements show up fast, often within the first 2-3 weeks of optimizations. For net-new campaign builds, most clients see meaningful lead flow within 30-60 days. I'll set realistic expectations upfront and show you exactly what's happening every step of the way.
Do you work with businesses outside the Portland area?
Yes. I work with businesses nationwide. Everything is handled remotely (strategy calls, reporting, account access) and it works just as well as being in the same city.
